Service is almost awkward because it's so amazing. They have my son a free banana when it saw it on the shelf. Had to give them a good tip because I was so impressed.

This spot is a little too fancy to have "Junkies" in their name. We came here for some Pho on our second night in DC. The downside is that you need to order via your mobile phone. I ordered a Meatball (Pho Bo Vien) Pho which wasn't on the menu. We had to flag the waiter and ask for assistance. The broth and noodles were delicious. The meatballs tasted clean but rather rubbery/overcooked. We also ordered egg rolls which were delicious but unfortunately only came with 2 which were cut in half. We had to order another plate to satisfy our craving. These were extremely crunchy and flavorful. Service feels like it is non-existent until you put your order in. Aside from the mobile ordering, the meal hit the spot.

Stopped in on a Thursday evening with my wife. Great pho in a nice dining room. The good: the pho here is the best we have had in a while the menu and ordering process is automated by QR code this gives a lot of options to customize your order but do remember to have a phone with you. The dining room and service here is very clean and nice which was not fully expected by the sign out front. The spring rolls come with a real fish sauce, this can be kind of hard to find as a lot of places seem to sub this out for some other sweet sauce that's less polarising but I loved the inclusion. The mediocre: this might be a selling point for some but it was fairly quiet when we stopped in and overly sterile. Full automated ordering, payment and hand sanitiser set out. Again this was one visit on a slow day and for those that appreciate these considerations this may be perfect. I tend to prefer more human interaction.

My friend heard that Pho Junkies had one of the best phos in DC, so we stopped by for dinner last Tuesday. You can order via Toast by scanning the QR code that's unique for every table. PHO JUNKIES - ALL THE MEATS - 19.75 Almost $20 for a bowl of pho is quite pricy. They do give you a good amount of meats, though. The brisket and eye round steak were tender and juicy. I enjoyed the tendon a lot too. The broth was quite good and rich, and the noodles had a nice chew and texture that didn't dilute the broth with starch. However, the bowl was pretty small and I can't say it was worth the amount we paid for. After tax and tip, I paid closer to $25, which is almost double the amount I'd pay if I went to Pho 75 in Rosslyn. Pho Junkies is definitely one of the best phos I've had in the area, but not sure if it's worth it.
